From ultra-foaming to high strength and fast setting, our injection chemicals anchor, consolidate and control gases, water and strata in all types of ground conditions. Minova's injection chemicals consolidate fractured strata and prevent the ingress of water.
Minova's injection chemicals range include polyurethane (PUR), silicate and phenolic-based systems.
Our PUR products can be injected under high pressures and have a long history in preventing water ingress.
Our resin products are used where time is of the essence, allowing you to speed up the traditional 24-hour curing period that cementitious grouting systems require.
Our pumpable resin, CarboThix is used with our Self Drilling Bolts to form our UniPass Bolting System. The immediate bonding of the resin makes it possible to load the bolts without leaving the borehole, making the bolting process safer, significantly quicker and more efficient.
This product was designed to improve the productivity of ground support installation in underground mining and tunnelling applications. Using the pumpable resin enables the load to be taken up in minutes rather than the typical 24 hours from cementitious grouted systems. Typical applications of CarboThix™ include grouting of cable bolts, solid steel or GFRP bolts, self-drilling anchors and one-step bolting operations in automated mode or for consolidation injection works in direct overburden.
These resins have been developed based on the knowledge of specific problems arising during excavation and mining operations – especially that of maintaining the direct overburden stability and the stability of the coal face.
These products are fast reacting two-component (2C) polyurethane resins designed to stabilise and consolidate the convergent or disrupted strata, with an excellent sealing effect on gases and water.
These resins are applicable over a wide range of temperatures and act effectively even against pressurised water.
CarboPur resins production line offers high-quality materials for temporary or permanent applications with different reaction data and resin behavior, applicable in infrastructure and civil engineering.
CarboPur WX is used for stabilisation in wet or water bearing rock formations. It is used for sealing water tributaries from rock formations, dams, or shaft walls. It can be used in renovation of wet shafts, tunnels, sewers, or brickwork.
CarboPur WF is used for sealing against water under hydrostatic pressure from strata, dams or shaft walls, sealing and consolidation in water-bearing strata and against water under pressure.
CarboPur WS is used for curtain injection in tunnels, dams, or on shaft walls; sealing against water, stabilisation, consolidation and repairing of cracks &/or fissures.
CarboPur WFA is used for sealing strong water ingress, e.g.construction pits, pipelines, shafts, and tunnels.
CarboPur WT is used in sealing against water under hydrostatic pressure from strata, dams or shaft walls, repair of wet shafts, tunnels, channels and walls, sealing of under water concrete sheet pilings and diaphragm walls.
CarboCrackSeal two-component (2C) injection polyurethane (PU) resins are specially developed for filling and sealing of water in active cracks of concrete structures.
CarboCrackSeal products are slow-reacting, permanently flexible PU resins designed for civil structure applications.
They can be used for closing working joints and active cracks and for water stopping in active cracks of concrete, brickwork or natural stone structures.
The resins have CE approvals according to the standard EN 1504-5.
Special types with closed-cell resin structure were developed to increase ground impermeability or seal joints in civil structures.
These products are used for:
Grouting of fine to very fine hair line cracks and water-carrying sands or porous materials. Used for deep injecting, fixing of anchors, stabilisation and sealing of loose rock, stoppage of water inflow (also salt water), injecting of man-accessible sewer lines and tubes.
Stopping water inflow (also salt water), stabilisation and water sealing of loose rock, grouting of fine to medium-fine grained sands and gravel, fixing of anchors, injection of cracks, honeycombs, injections of man-accessible sewer lines and tubes
Stopping of water inflow (also salt water), sealing of loose rock, sealing of cracks and expansion joints in bridges and concrete structures. For use in deep injection, grouting of medium-fine to larger cracks, fissures, honeycombs, injections of man-accessible sewer lines and tubes where high elasticity and flexibility is required.
Stopping of flowing water, restoration of concrete structures according to German ZTV-ING.
GEOFLEX Component A is a special sodium silicate with additives. GEOFLEX Component B is a modified polyisocyanate.
Thanks to its flexibility it is capable of dissipating deformation energy under the stress of strata movement and is applicable in cracks of more than 0.25 mm width.
The curing of component A results in a silicate, whilst simultaneously a solid polyisocyanurate/polyurea is formed from component B. The mixture of these two components creates a tough, elastic, solid silicate resin (organic-mineral resin).
Component A is a modified silicate, and component B is a modified isocyanate. After mixing in a volumetric ratio 1: 1 the resin starts foaming up within a few seconds.
CarboCryl products have a watery consistency and is injected into structures. They sets as a gel in any pores and fissures. The treated area then has the strength and waterproofing characteristics required. CarboCryl products are also solvent-free, making it an environmentally friendly solution for these types of repair projects.
CarboCryl are well suited for use in the following applications:
CarboLith products are used for ground stabilisation and filling of smaller cavities in the construction industry.
The products help in various renovation and construction of concrete, roads and infrastructure assets.
Ekoflex products are a two-component foams, obtained after mixing component A (aqueous solution of phenol-formaldehyde resin) and component B (aqueous solution of organic and inorganic acids) in a volume ratio of 4:1. The foam property allows the products to be used under various geological and mining conditions.
Various products are available in this category with varying foaming factors and reaction speeds.
Ekopur products are versatile and with varying parameters, they are used for a wide number of applications including:
CFT Harz, component A is a mixture of various polyols and additives. CFT Harz, component B is a polyisocyanate. CFT Harz, component C is an accelerator.
The mixed resin penetrates the structure which has to be sealed. The majority of any water in there is displaced due to the hydrophobic nature and the viscosity of the resin. Traces of water make the resin foam.
This resin is designed for sealing, stabilisation and consolidation in water-bearing strata and repair of old sewers, shafts, and tunnels.
This silicate and isocyanate system is obtained after mixing component A (aqueous solution of sodium silicate with auxiliary agents) and component B (polymeric MDI isocyanate with additives) in a volume ratio of 1:1.
These products are fast expanding foam fillers that can be used for a wide variety of applications including:
